Isn’t there a saying, “Safety First?”
Live Safe partners and friends are organizations and associations that envision a fire safe environment, help to respond to a variety of life and fire emergencies, as well as support combating abuse.
Partnership– a cooperative relationship between people or groups who share responsibility for achieving a specific goal;
Our partners care about our mission and support us with funding and resources, while other supporters and friends donate their expertise, information and industry knowledge. Live Safe will continually work to build networks of non-profit allies and devote time and energy in advancing their cause. We welcome sharing wealth, expertise, talent and power with our peers.
Our partners are our friends and we are their fans!
Live Safe continually works to build networks by participating in year-round state-wide and local events. We provide advocacy efforts as members of public fire and life safety coalitions. We have well-established relationships with active fire departments, non-profit organizations and various key stakeholder groups.
A special thanks go out to the following “Partners” who share our vision and are helping make our work possible:
- Board of Trustees
- Live Safe Ambassadors
- Event Sponsors
- Programmatic Partners
Live Safe is proud to share a programmatic partnership with The Center for Campus Fire Safety (CCFS) which is the only national, non-profit, membership-based organization devoted to the fire and life safety of the more than 4,000 institutes of higher learning in the United States.
Its operations are underwritten by the generosity of companies and organizations that share a commitment to ensuring that over 18 million college and university students are afforded fire-safe environments in which to live and learn.
Through the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Fire Prevention and Safety Grant Program, CCFS was able to create Firewise Campus, an education training program teaching students the importance of fire and life safety. CCFS provides a focused gateway for experts in the industry to exchange information. CCFS is recognized as an expert organization in the field of campus fire safety and, as a result, serves as a national spokesperson to media outlets.
CCFS has enjoyed great success since its inception in October 2003. By providing support to institutions, organizations, and individuals across the country, CCFS has gained confirmation of our mission: to educate individuals on the importance of fire safety. This exposure has been accomplished through extensive outreach, education, and information dissemination.
CCFS is also participating on a national level as the campus fire service representative in the allied areas of campus safety, security, and emergency planning.
The Center for Campus Fire Safety has four main goals:
- MAKING STUDENTS MORE AWARE OF THE PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY THAT THEY HAVE IN FIRE SAFETY,
- EDUCATING AND INFORMING PARENTS ABOUT FIRE SAFETY SO THEY MAKE EDUCATED DECISIONS ABOUT WHERE TO SEND THEIR CHILDREN,
- SUPPORTING ALL PROFESSIONALS WORKING TO ENSURE COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES ARE SAFE FROM FIRE, AND;
- ENCOURAGING SCHOOLS TO ELEVATE THEIR LEVELS OF FIRE SAFETY.
Other valued partners:
Live Safe is a proud partner with the Washington Township Fire Department who serves as a regular contributor of fire and life safety information in the weekly “Line of Fire” blog column promoting a safe and healthy community.
Washington Township shares the responsibility for serving twenty-two square miles and 41,000 residents with the City of Dublin, Ohio. The fire department provides a comprehensive community fire and injury prevention program that is designed to eliminate or mitigate situations that endangers lives, health, property, or the environment.
